Merci à Noël Huguet pour son nom Hygrocybes conicoides : petits champignons au chapeau de 2 à 6 cm, rose vif à vineux parfois blanchâtre à bord nettement strié, un peu mamelonné.

I think that I found another strange female mallard that looks like to previous one. Colors are not exactly the same but very close.

Black Indian Runner Duck near to my home have 5 chicks.
They are like toys.
They are all different : yellow, white, black, grey
Photos done during a very bad day (overcast and rain)
ps : edit June 11, only 2 survivors, this one is still alive with another all black.

The goldcrest is the smallest bird in Europe (5g). It is even smaller than a Wren. The spikes in the photo measure between 1cm and 2cm. Very big crop.
Avec ses 5g le roitelet huppé est le plus petit oiseau d'Europe devant le Troglodyte mignon. Les epines dans la photos mesurent entre 1cm et 2cm. Un gros crop.

This is the 2nd photo of this wren on a trunk
This time I did a big crop on the center of the photo to get a different composition.
I was lucky that the background was far from the bird.

Then they disappeared during 10 days ...
and now the 4 survivors are back again and they are much bigger.

Merlin, 8 mois, adopté par ma fille...Celle-ci écrit ceci: Mon petit Merlin est arrivé ici à l'écurie en automne, septembre ou octobre, Donald lorsque je suis allée à l'écurie me dit ''Danielle il y a un petit chat qui
est derrière la ''tank'' à eau chaude et qui miaule beaucoup, il me dit qu'il lui a donné une canne de manger et qu'il avait l'air affamé... Je suis allée voir et l'ai appelé et il n'a pas été dur à attraper, il s'est
laissé faire, il était tout petit (à peine 8 semaines) et si mignon. Je l'ai amené à la maison en me disant ouais ça ne sera pas facile avec les chiens. Mais à mon très grand étonnement, quand j'ai présenté le chaton à un chien aucune
réaction, j'ai mis alors tous les chiens autour de lui et le chaton restait là sans réagir même si mes chiens étaient très excités de voir un chat près d'eux, je n'avais jamais vu ça! Je me suis alors dit, lui je le garde c'est notre chat-chien. Ensuite, je l'ai présenté à notre chatte d'écurie-maison ''Twiggy'' là cela n'a pas été facile, non pas pour Merlin, mais Twiggy qui faisait des pssit pssit et lui crachait au visage. mais après quelques semaines, avec la persévérance de Merlin, elle s'est habituée et maintenant ils dorment ensemble et jouent ensemble en se bagarrant comme des vrais félins. Mon seul bémol dans tout ça, Twiggy va dehors et s'amuse mais Merlin doit rester dans la maison (pour son bien) car avec sa non méfiance,
j'ai peur qu'il aille dans la rue, et qu'il finisse comme trois autres de mes chats...

2 terrible hunters, the treecreeper is running fast on trunks to catch insects and the wren does the same thing on the ground. In winter they looks so funny with their big body.

Peyto Lake is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The lake itself is near the Icefields Parkway. It was named for Bill Peyto, an early trail guide and trapper in the Banff area.[1]
The lake is formed in a valley of the Waputik Range, between Caldron Peak, Peyto Peak and Mount Jimmy Simpson, at an elevation of 1,860 m (6,100 ft).[2]
During the summer, significant amounts of glacial rock flour flow into the lake from a nearby glacier, and these suspended rock particles are what give the lake a unique bright, turquoise colour. The lake is best seen from Bow Summit, the highest point on the Icefields Parkway.[4]

Il a un bec fin, long et légèrement arqué.
Il apprécie particulièrement les bosquets denses car il vole peut et chasse une bonne partie de son temps à se faufiler dans l'entrelac des branches et à terre pour chasser les insectes. le troglodyte mignon mesure de 13 à 17 cm et un poids d'une dizaine de grammes. Sur le territoire qu'il s'est établi , le mâle ébauche plusieurs nids .Il édifie en moyenne
6 à 12 nids de musse à ouverture latérale de forme sphérique entre le niveau du sol et 2 m de hauteur .Les nids mesurent
en moyenne 11 cm de haut pour 13 de large et 14 de profond .
La construction intervient pendant ou juste après une averse,
les matériaux se resserrent ensuite en séchant , contribuant à la solidité du nid.. les boules de mousse et de brindilles bâties
à l'abri dans un trou de mur ou d'arbre façon grotte, d'où son nom troglodyte - avant de focaliser sur un , particulièrement dont il mène à terme, ouvrage qui aura toute les chances d'être choisi par la femelle. Elle choisi sont nid qui lui plait le plus et finit d'en aménager l'intérieur en y amenant des centaines de petites plumes . Celle ci pond de 5 à 8 oeufs quelle va couver seule pendant 2 semaines ceci à la mi-avril alors que le mâle apporte la nourriture. le mâle peut être polygame et la femelle peut avoir une 2 ème couvée ( la mi-juin ). Le troglodyte se nourrit d'insectes, d'araignées et d'autres invertébrés. Il peut vivre 6 ans.

This duck is so nice, the beak is orange and feathers are sooo white like a swan.
I selected this one for the Mirror effect and the waves around the duck ... and the little light in the eye.
