The predominant daisy is orange but this year yellow Senecio predominated in this field.
I have been away for a while,firstly in A Nature conservancy in Zimbabwe where I was asked to make images for a brochure. I then decided to have a short sabbatical from flickr while being busy on my Zimbabwe images. I have just returned from my annual week in Namaqualand and will be posting some images I have made there over the next while.

Fell off the Flickr wagon for a while there, but don't worry, I've been taking photos throughout my unplanned hiatus.
Might take a while to get caught up, but I'm back online now... at least until the next time I unexpectedly decide to stay away from the laptop.

after a meeting I dashed back to the Wylye to capture 66711 on the 6O31 engineers having heard it had a good load. Watching on the maps I knew it was close when suddenly I was buzzed by a "whirlybird". I turned to watch it and there was the train! So snap the shutter was pressed and two forms of transport were snapped!
