Burgruine Weissenstein (Fejérkő vára)
Die Reste dieser zwar kleinen, aber einst trotzdem imposanten Burg findet man auf einem Berg bei Kereki nicht weit vom Balaton entfernt an der Straße von Balatonföldvár nach Tab. Sehen kann man diese Burg von der Straße aus nicht und auch das Hinweisschild auf die Burg ist recht klein und dezent. Dadurch habe ich sie erst in diesem Jahr entdeckt, obwohl ich in dieser Region schon seit 40 Jahren urlaube.
Vom Parkplatz aus bis zur Burg muß man nur etwa 1 Km wandern, dabei aber auch etwa 100 Höhenmeter überwinden. Der Aufstieg ist knackig aber was man dann findet ist den Aufstieg wert! Die Burgruine wurde erst unlängst touristisch aufbereitet. Um die Burg herum gibt es einen gesicherten Holzgestellpfad, man kann die Ruinen aber auch direkt betreten. Außerdem gibt es hier einen kleinen Rastplatz und eine Aussichtsplattform mit schönem Blick auf die imposante Autobahnbrücke in Kőröshegy und den dahinter liegenden Balaton.

Faur L45H-083 der BVO (heute SDG) vor dem Lokschuppen in Oberwiesenthal. Damals gab es in Oberwiesenthal noch den alten, über 100 Jahre alten Lokschuppen. Nur wenig später wurde er abgerissen und durch einen modernen Neubau ersetzt.
