Backdropped by a dark blue and white Earth, this full view of the International Space Station (ISS) was photographed by a crewmember on board the Space Shuttle Atlantis following the undocking of the two spacecraft. Atlantis pulled away from the complex at 8:13 a.m. (CDT) on October 16, 2002. The newly added Starboard One (S1) Truss is visible in center frame.

Eröffnungskonzert der Wiener Festwochen mit Daniel Harding, Wiener Philharmoniker. 2011 dirigierte der russische Dirigent Valery Gergiev und als Solist trat der Violinist Benjamin Schmid auf. Da eine enge Verbindung der Philharmoniker mit Japan besteht, fand das Konzert als Benefizveranstaltung zur Unterstützung für die Erdbebenopfer beim Tōhoku-Erdbeben 2011 statt. 60 Fernsehstationen übertrugen es zeitgleich oder versetzt.

大多數高樓的橫向穩定性來自於堅固的中央核心。然而，瑞士再保險大樓（30 St Mary Ave）的外露骨架透過三角化佈置來支撐整個結構，並且承載樓板，每層樓板依序水平旋轉5度。儘管整體玻璃外觀呈弧狀，其實僅安裝了一片弧狀玻璃，即安裝於大樓頂端的透鏡形狀玻璃罩，建築物的周長向上遞減直到頂端，以減少風阻。

建築物包含330根基樁的基礎、重達11,000公噸且長35公里的鋼結構，還有包覆面積達24,000平方公尺玻璃的外層。電梯最多可同時承載378人，以每秒6公尺的速度移動，而所有植物幾乎都種植在毗鄰的貝里街二十號一幢六層樓建築上。
這一幢四十一層樓的辦公大樓，提供了七萬六千四百平方公尺的空間，裡面包含辦公室、全新的一樓公共廣場，頂樓的酒吧可讓人欣賞倫敦的三百六十度全景。瑞士再保險大樓號稱是倫敦第一座保護環境永續發展的高樓建築，因為該建築只用一半不到的能源，運作其供熱與冷卻系統。
高樓的外型是針對其所在城市的環境，以及倫敦的重重嚴格法規限制量身設計的。它的幾何輪廓設計是為了減少光線的反射，因此讓它看起來更加清澈透明。此外，它的外型設計也能減少通常會發生在高樓建築的「倒灌風」或一樓大廳的風效應，並且使公共設施區域產生壓差來驅動其獨特的自然通風系統。
二○○四年，瑞士再保險大樓獲頒英國皇家建築師協會的年度建築史特林獎（Stirling Prize）。在諾曼‧福斯特（受英國女王晉封勛爵）的受獎演說中，他說該建築「⋯⋯是我們過去三十多年來奮鬥打拚的核心價值觀的化身：這套價值觀攸關人性化辦公環境、節約能源、促進建築物裡人們的溝通交流，以及建築物與城市建立關係的方法等等。」
這個建築案將以下三者所探索的建築概念發揚光大：香港滙豐銀行總行（1985）、德意志商業銀行總部（1997），以及早期福斯特與富勒合作的理論氣候辦公室（Climatroffice）（1971），此辦公室是一棟探索結合自然環境、辦公室、空間構架的動態未來工作場所。

This aircraft was ordered new by Qantas Airways for lease to Jetstar. Entered onto the Australian Aircraft Register as VH-VFU 1 October 2013. Registered to Qantas Airways Limited, Sydney and leased to Jetstar Airways Pty Ltd Australia, Melbourne as the registered operator.
First flown at Toulouse as F-WWBK 8 October 2013 and powered by International Aero Engines IAE V2527-A5 engines.
Operated its first revenue service Melbourne (Tullamarine) - Perth as JQ970 20 November 2013.
Operated its last service in current livery Maroochydore - Melbourne (Tullamarine) as JQ797 1 May 2016. 'Uni Qld From Tokyo To Gold Coast' decals were applied at Melbourne and returned to service Melbourne (Tullamarine) - Darwin as JQ678 4 May 2016. The 'Uni Qld' decals were removed from the aircraft at Newcastle whilst the aircraft was undergoing maintenance.
Returned to service Newcastle - Brisbane as JQ480 28 November 2016.
Operated its last service in the current livery Maroochydore - Melbourne (Tullamarine) as JQ797 22 May 2017. 'Need-a-Break.com' decals were applied at Melbourne (Tullamarine) and returned to service Melbourne (Tullamarine) - Sydney (Kingsford Smith) as JQ502 26 May 2017.
