Another of the Bulgarian/Czech numbering lottery series. This is in fact ex ČD 242222 but it is carrying the identity of former BDZ 44064 which was bought for spares and to be able to use the ID to get around the sale restrictions imposed by České dráhy. 044064 (a Czech locomotive, registered in Bulgaria for a Hungarian operator) is slowly bringing a long train of new grain hoppers away from Budapest-Kelenföld
You could hear this train approaching before it came into view as one of the axles had a really bad flat spot on the wheel - so much that you could see the axle moving up and down in the guide as it went past!

28.02.2025 - Szlak Świdnica Miasto - Jaworzyna Śląska. Tego dnia na "podsudeckiej" można było spotkać ciekawe pociągi objazdowe, spowodowane incydentem na LK 276. Na jednotorowym szlaku Starczów - Kamieniec Ząbkowicki uszkodzona została sieć trakcyjna i pantograf lokomotywy ET22-1205. Przejazd wymienionym odcinkiem został zablokowany, pociągi były zastępowane autobusami KKZ lub wytyczano dla nich trasę objazdową. Poranny "Baltic Express" w kierunku Czech poprowadzono przez Jaworzynę, a następnie z pomocą trakcji spalinowej (dokładniej użyto jedną z lokomotyw 6Dg z floty PKP Cargo) przejechał LK 137 do Kamieńca, skąd kontynuował dalszą część swojego przebiegu. Samo zdjęcie przedstawia "Stonkę" przewoźnika Trainspeed, przetaczającą 3 "Elfy" Kolei Dolnośląskich, które utknęły w Kamieńcu z powodu wyżej opisanej sytuacji. Razem to ponad 300 metrowy skład elektrycznych pojazdów, które w normalnych okolicznościach nie są możliwe do uchwycenia na tym odcinku.

W święto Trzech Króli i możliwości skorzystania z dnia wolnego, wybrałem się na zimowe zdjęcia. Choć za oknem w momencie wykonania tej klatki panował mróz wielkości -8st. warto było się poświęcić by mieć te białe ujęcie, gdyż śnieg nie zawsze jest już obecny zimową porą w naszej szerokości geograficznej.
Na zdjęciu lokomotywa, która też powoli odchodzi z polskich szlaków, gdyż zgodnie z przyjętą polityką przewoźnika ma stanowić głównie rezerwę taborową.
W Wielkopolsce od zmian rozkładu jazdy ma kilka pociągów, na których da się ją jeszcze spotkać, jednak nie są to stałe przydziały, a raczej loteria. Dziś tytułowa EP09-044 prowadziła opóźniony +65min pociąg EIE 8322 "Sukiennice" relacji Szczecin Główny - Kraków Główny. Zdjęcie wykonane na szlaku Kiekrz - Poznań POD, a za nastawnikiem sympatyczny maszynista, któremu dziękuję w tym miejscu za miłe pozdrowienia.

On Epiphany day and possibility of a free day from work, I decided to went out for winter photos. In moment when I made it was freezing with -8 Celsius degrees. But was worth to stay to made few white photos, because snow is no longer always present during winter in our geographical region.
On photo locomotive which also is disappearing from polish routes. As PKP Intercity annouced, EP09 will be only reserve machines soon.
In Greater Poland region, from last year timetable change, EP09 appear on few trains but is not pernament. Today title EP09-044 was ride with delayed +65minutes IC train named Sukiennce from Szczecin to Kraków. Photo made on route Kiekrz - Poznań POD technical post.
