Decided to make the effort and get up and out of bed to start doing sunrises again.
This is Higger Tor / Surprise View in The Peak District, the light was fantastic for about 20 minutes and then the grey clouds just appeared.

With the second Mince Pie train of the day 75078 makes a decent departure from Haworth, the last day of festive season services.

NORITA 66とソファーの背の上のはなみるくさん
屋内だとF2のレンズでISO400で窓際でも結構遅いシャッタースピードになる。
ソファーの背で外を眺めるはなみるくさんだ。僕が去年の夏に入院してから、余計人のいる場所を気にするようになった気がする。人がいなくなると、あちこちいる場所を確認しにきたりする。シャッタースピードもなかなか遅い。露出も開放気味だ。その瞳よりも手前に焦点が合った気もするが気にしない。さすがにちょっとシャープさに欠ける写真になった気がする。この時期の猫はなかなか大変なようだけれど、自分で温かい場所を見つけては寝たりのんびり過ごしていたりする。もうちょっと猫写真を撮らないと思う。

快晴。午後からカミサンと車でカントリーキッチンに行った。薄く霞んでいたのでPM2.5か黄砂かと思ったらそんなことはないようで、温かな陽気だったのでモヤがかかっただけのようだ。カントリーキッチンでスイーツを楽しんだ後、屋上に上がり、NORITA 66、NORITAR 80mm F2、PORTRA 400で風景を撮った。今日は結構観光客が多くて店も混んでいたりした。屋上でも珍しくHasselblad 500を持った人がいたので思わず声をかけたが、女性連れだったのでそれどころではなかったのかもしれない。撮影の記録をしていたアプリがAndroid用なのだけれど、スマートフォンが不調でiPad mini 6にメモ書きしただけだった。帰宅後、終盤の方の富士フイルムスーパーカップをSurface Pro、ソニーのアプリ、ソニーのBlu-ray Discプレイヤー経由で観たりした。

Seiffen in the Ore Mountains is world- famous for its Ore Mountain woodcraft, Christmas pyramids, candle arches, and the typical nutcrackers.
Seiffen is the therefore also known as a toy- making village.
Many small shops invite visitors to Christmas shopping all year round!

A Black-winged Stilt manages to catch a morsel to eat - looks like some kind of flying insect. Those busy forays around the edge of Sunset Dam are not all fruitless.
A splendid White-crowned Lapwing, strutting around the shore of Sunset Dam, near Lower Sabie, in the Kruger National Park.
