Year 2202 - After an environmental catastrophe caused by mankind, there are hardly any humans left and only a few angels. But what still remains is mankind's greed for possessions and power.

Once the world of angels was all right. They lived in the Golden City of Angels and watched over mankind.
The orderly life of the angels changed quickly when mankind in its endless greed for money and possessions exploited the earth more and more and caused a climate catastrophe. The angels committed a war against the humans and tried to save the earth.
But the earth was too weakened and took revenge and almost wiped out the entire humanity. And also only a few angels survived.
When mankind found out that the power of the angels could be used as energy, a fight between the angels and the humans began.
The angels learned to camouflage themselves and to hide, in order to walk undiscovered among humans. Now they had not only to save the earth, but also themselves.
Very early in the ninety-nineties, shortly after the collapse of the USSR, I was twice part of an international aid team that was assessing the need for medical material in western Ukraine. We visited hospitals, care homes, and orphanages in Lviv and the surrounding countryside. I still have vivid memories of the friendly and open people and how they enjoyed the new freedom, but also the poverty in the middle of Europe. The winter was bitterly cold. Even some homes for the elderly and disabled were pretty cold. Also, this gentleman was wearing a warm coat, a scarf and a cap inside. I was able to take a few images, some of which I recently found and scanned.
Now I can finally tick off the "yellow mobile crane with doomsday clouds reflecting in a building window " off my photography bucket-list.

Der Baureihenerstling 1293 001 der ÖBB war hier mit einem KLV Zug bei Dietfurt auf dem Weg in Richtung Norden zu sehen.
Als sich am 18.05.2023 nach gefühlt Wochen auch in Süddeutschland zumindest für ein paar Stunden mal wieder die Sonne zeigte, postierte ich mich bei Steinrain, um 183 001 mit Alx 79864 nach München aufzunehmen. Nur noch bis zum Fahrplanwechsel im Dezember verkehrt der Alex in der jetzigen Form. Während aktuell noch im Zweistundentakt von Hof und Prag mit Vereinigung in Schwandorf nach München gefahren wird, übernimmt dann DB Regio die Leistungen nach Hof, der Länderbahn bleiben noch die Züge nach Prag.
Blomsterbukta means "Flower Bay", the mountains in this area are immense and the colours and formations are something out of this world.

Dne 16.9.2018 s v podhůří Jizerských hor objevila nevšední podívaná - vlaková 751.001 společně s postrkovou 749.107 projíždí jeden z nejkrásnějších železničních viaduktů v ČR - Smržovský viadukt na trase Liberec - Tanvald.
Am 25.06.2023 war ich morgens erst in Namedy. Den Sonderzug nach Boppard hatte ich auf dem Schirm, habe aber mit der 101 001 gerechnet.
Kurz vor Abfahrt wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass die E03 001 den Zug ziehen wird.
Somit war für mich abends die Stelle in Leutesdorf klar. Somit wurde das Hochstativ ausgepackt und die Kamera musste die Generalprobe bestehen.
Kurz nach 18 Uhr konnte die E03 001 auf den Chip gebrannt werden.
Mit einem leeren Holzzug war die ehemalige SRT 487 001, jetzt im Einsatz für SETG, bei Edlhausen auf dem Weg Richtung Norden zu sehen.

Der Personenverkehr nach Koper ist mittlerweile sehr übersichtlich geworden. Im Sommer werden immerhin noch drei Zugpaare angeboten, außerhalb der Saison ist es noch eins weniger. Bei unserem Besuch am 02.07.2022 bestanden zwei der drei Zugpaare aus neuen Triebwagen der SŽ, nur der IC 509 kam dann abends lokbespannt nach Koper. Mit seiner planmäßigen Ankunftszeit um 20.36 Uhr lässt er sich allerdings nur an den langen Tagen umsetzen und das auch nur in flacheren Bereichen. Eine passende Stelle gibts hinter Črnotiče, hier ist auch nach 20 Uhr noch Licht auf der Strecke. 342 001 kam pünktlich mit vier sauberen Wagen um die Ecke.

Am 17. März 2015 stand der sechsachsige Koloss der Firma Wiebe im Bahnhof von Leer, kurze Zeit später brachte die Maschine mit lautem Getöse einen schweren Bunkerzug nach Bremen.

Einen Tag später stattete ich dem Elbtal einen Besuch ab. 383 001 bespannte in Dresden im Auftrag für CTL einen Kesselzug und brachte diesen nach Decin. Zwischen Rathen und Königstein rollte der CD Cargo Vectron an der Elbe entlang und konnte am Nachmittag fotografiert werden.
