Roaming around the marina in Redwood City, California. The closed table umbrellas caught my eye. LIFE LOL.
One of 4 baby raccoons born to our resident mom this spring. They are so tiny and fuzzy. Watching them learn to use their hands and how to climb is entertaining. Thought I'd have some fun with this shot.
So it's the 'Alexander' catamaran on its way to McMahons Point Wharf, Balmain East Wharf and then across Darling Harbour to Barangaroo.
If you catch this ferry, you will be just in time for an amazing dinner at 'The Malaya' restaurant in Lime Street, right near King Street Wharf, at Barangaroo.

After dinner catch a night ferry back across the harbour, under the bridge, and on to Circular Quay. OR, get off at Luna Park (aka Milsons Point) and take the super fast, brand new, Metro driverless train back to the Hills District. Too easy, lol.

I was shooting with a pretty slow shutter speed when he started shaking the water off his head. He was just sitting in the river by the banks under some willow branches grabbing a salmon here and there as they'd float by him. Was hoping I'd get at least one nostril in focus. I did, LOL. Thought it made for a kinda cool shot
I hope you can view this on a larger screen. You'll get a much better appreciation for the photo

In Mindo Ecuador, after two hours drive thru the Andes mountains, finally I found a place where I could photograph hummingbirds. Back yard of a small boutique hotel restaurant. This was the first time I was venturing to photograph these lovely creatures. I must say some of them came out pretty good and this is one of them!!!
They are pretty hard to focus on!!!!!!!! LOL!!

I haven't been out with my camera for a few days, so here's another shot of probably my favourite find this year, back in August; an alder moth caterpillar, which just wouldn't stay still, lol.
Ici se terminent les rubans des hautes falaise normandes pour aboutir sur Ault. Ville frontière, un no man's land qui donne sur la Baie de Somme, Picardie, et le chapelet des plats pays de l'Europe du Nord.
De ce dernier promontoire on y voit même le Danemark !

Here end the ribbons high cliff to arrive on Norman Ault. City border, a no man's land that overlooks the Bay of Somme, Picardy, and the string of dishes from countries of Northern Europe.
From the latter we even see them promontory Denmark!
