"Obscuring Identity" is the theme i chose in reaction to my AS Photography exam of "Covert & Obscure" In these photos i am exploring manipulation as a way of obscuring identity through black and white digital photography and post production editing.

Photos are a very important part of a blog. When they are will used, they will tell your story, set the mood, or illustrate a point, and pull your reader's attention to a post. If you are taking pictures especially for your blog, look for shots that illustrate the main ideas in your writing. Also keep in mind any privacy/security policies you have in place about revealing identities on the Internet. (If you're taking pictures in a classroom of children working, you might want the full face-pride of ownership shot for the child's portfolio, and another showing only her hands and the work for the blog.)

The easiest way to insert a photo onto a blog page is to store it on the Internet, at a photo-sharing web site. That way, you can choose what size photo you would like to insert in the blog, without having to actually resize it in your computer with photo manipulation software. If you keep all your photos on the web, you will gradually build up a library of photos from which to draw, easily and legally.
