Whilst looking into paper manipulation, I discovered that sewing into paper and ripping it whilst in hot water allowed it to become distressed, then leave a stiff effect when dry. I developed this idea by transferring images onto large sheets of paper, distressing it and then setting it in liquid latex.
Currently turning this into a wearable garment in my spare time.
