Meadow is really upset today cause her frog tank has broke....so little miss frog decided to go on a adventure in the house....(good thing its not real...don't tell Meadow that) :)

At the urging of my daughter, I finally have gone back to look at the photos I took in Tobago in 2008/2009, our first trip back after Gord's death. The Beez has been complaining about my backlog of photo processing and indeed she has a point. Here is the first of the shots that the kids have not seen from 2 years ago. The claim of course is that they haven't seen photos from 3 years ago and since. LOL. Oh how I miss Castara and the rest of Tobago.
It has only been a day and a half since Tilly went off to be treated at Happy Tails www.htsanctuary.com/index.shtml but i am missing her like crazy. Three dogs have been adopted so far and I know they are all in better places but it seemed so empty and sad at the site today. Here is the latest from Susan at Happy Tails...
Just got back from the vet - here is the scoop...
Had ticks so frontlined her.
Hair loss on legs and rump are on the pressure points where she has been
laying and rubbed it off. Probably won't grow back.
Has goopy eyes and an eye infection so is on eye ointment. Have to clean
them twice a day and then medicate.
Has pretty enlarged lymph nodes so is on antibiotics for 10 days.
Foot is ok - old issue that seems healed so no need to call the orthopedic
surgeon. Sometimes walks on it, sometimes not.
Vet thinks she is just over a year.
Spay incision looks good and she isn't messing with it. Will give her a
good bath this weekend and get all that stink off her.
She is pretty lethargic and didn't eat that good last night. Needs to gain
some weight. Got some special food for her that is easy on her stomach and
she ate it all tonight.
Got her microchipped - its a Home Again chip.
No health certificate until she gets finished with her meds and has a
recheck.
Sleeping on a nice blanket and recuperating.

i miss the 80s...
Damien O'Brien went missing about ten days ago and was last seen walking over this bridge which is just down the road from me it coincides with a similar disappearance almost nine years to the day of another man Trevor Deeley who was also last seen on this bridge in both cases the line of enquiry goes that they are presuming that both men fell into the canal below but Trevor deeley was never found and two days of searching the canal on my road has found nothing another death associated with this bridge involved a girl called nicola and as far as I know there was never anyone found and charged for that murder.
Friends of Damian some of who I know have covered the area around this bridge with posters and the search goes on
EDIT: 10/Dec/09 at lunchtim a police man walking across this bridge spotted something in the water, the area was closed off and a body presumed that of Damien O'Brien recovered
