I just sat him in a time out. Next thing I know there's crying & blood, and he's missing a tooth! What a time for Jules to pop down the shops :-)

Moxy has gone missing, if you find her, please contact me, and you'll get a free hug.
Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff helped me make the poster...
(I think I left her at home whoops and I was already behind on photos with her)
The D200, D300/S, D700 Nikons, and the Fuji S5 have their serial numbers on the bottom of the camera. However, this camera is missing the sticker with the serial number.
Whilst waiting in the queue to do my shopping I became aware that the parking for the disabled and carers and children were totally empty. it prompted an expedition to the other side of the car parks in Morrison's and Aldi. Just the marks where they should have been and a series of images to represent this.
WAH this picture sucks basically becase of the lighting or lack thereof.
Theme Celebrate the mundane.
Brisbane was over 30 today and there isn't anything much more mundane than an electric fan. This one is 'On'', as you can see by the buttons. The blades are literally "missing in action."

The final project for our Photographing People class was to duplicate a self portrait of a photographer in the 50's. His portrait of the fingers was taken with a 4X5 view camera so I guess it wasn't truely a self portrait since someone else actually tripped the shutter. Hardest things-1) figuring out how to do it (thanks to my honey for the idea) and 2) actually shooting it myself.
The meaning of the items on this special Missing Man Table.
The table is round -- to show our everlasting concern for our missing men.
The tablecloth is white -- symbolizing the purity of their motives when answering the call to duty.
The single red rose, displayed in a vase, reminds us of the life of each of the missing, and their loved ones, and friends of these Americans who keep the faith, awaiting answers.
The vase is tied with a red ribbon, symbol of our continued determination to account for our missing.
The Solitary Candle -- represents "The upward reach of their unconquerable spirit".
A slice of lemon on the bread plate is to remind us of the bitter fate of those captured and missing in a foreign land.
A pinch of salt symbolizes the tears endured by those missing and their families who seek answers.
The Bible represents the strength gained through faith to sustain those lost from our country, founded as "One Nation Under God".
The chairs are empty -- they are missing.
The glass is inverted -- to symbolize their inability to share this evening's [morning's/day's] toast.

...and three weeks later, this WAS his Ford Escort, after hitting a tree!! Fortunately the only injury was a bruised ego, and missing spectacles.
Suffolk Road, Sheffield, late Saturday afternoon. An old car pulls up, and two men emerge into the drizzle. It has been raining all day, and the buses that swish past, round the ring road, past the cathederal and Bramall Lane, are full and steamed up. After a quick recce, the car pulls away and holes up in a multi-storey nearby. Minutes later the men are back, undercover and faceless, and seconds later disappear into the building. No one sees. No one cares.
Inside is in a bad way. The buildings around a central square are wide open, windows smashed and doors missing. At first glance nothing much remains, and yet beneath the wreckage there are things worth checking out. In some rooms were the benching with line shafting underneath.
Evidence of needles were in most rooms.I had never seen as many as here. They were everywhere, on the benching, the stairs, the floors. Skag hell.
needs more work....

100 Days of Summer: 37/100
~
Please lightbox it...
So obviously there's no way I'm finishing this in time for the summer title to make sense; nevertheless, there will eventually be 100 images here, hopefully within the year at least.
~
I went to an interpretative portrait workshop this weekend which was amazing and hopefully was enough to get me back on track, at least until school starts up again.
Books 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 of The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, that I have stocked up on for future reading.
The reading is definitely in the future as I am missing Book 3, which is throwing a spanner in the works. The shrink wrap on the boxset is going to stay on unless I find the missing book.
Taken with iPhone 3GS.
Entry for Daily Shoot 451: "Make a photograph that features a leading line through it today. Draw the viewers eye through the image."
Hamline anthropology and forensic science students assisting law enforcement in a forensic archaeological investigation of a missing person. This case is not believed to be a criminal investigation. Law enforcement just wants to bring closure to the family. Unfortunately we were unsuccessful, but our students did help screen a lot of mud.
Many people ask me whether I have second thoughts about moving to England, and the answer is... no! I love it here in Lincolnshire. Nice and quiet, friendly people, setting up our photography business, no traffic jams. The only thing is (besides missing out on much of my beloved nephew and nieces) I do miss my coffees at Hotel New York in Rotterdam ;-)
But I'll start a new project soon. Different for sure, but nevertheless exciting and challenging!
Where has it gone, who took it?
The Churchyard of St Mary's, Stockport.
The trail of small footprints leads to where?
The slow footprint of a soul carrying on its shoulder
the epitaph of a life....
heavy and written in stone .
And there is always a grave for everyone on this earth
this one is now vacant.
whooooo!

The flyover was one of the events on the program. A missing man formation is an aerial maneuver which is intended to honor dead or missing members of the military, specifically pilots in the air force. The origins of the missing man formation lie in the First World War, when Royal Air Force (RAF) crews got into the habit of doing an organized flyover when they returned to their home airfields, to alert ground crews that they were coming in. During the flyover, ground crews would also take note of how many men had returned from the mission, and since the layout of a tight flight formation is very rigid, the ground crews could figure out who was missing. Quite an emotional display. According to RAF history, the first official missing man formation as a military honor occurred with the death of the Red Baron, a famous flying ace of the First World War. Pilots decided to enact a spontaneous tribute to him, executing a flyover, also known as a flyby, in which an aircraft was obviously missing, symbolizing the Red Baron's departure from the world of the living. By 1938, the United States had picked up the practice, and it has since become common at prominent military funerals.
Missing people Sweden, the police and the swedish home guard were searching for a young girl in Uddevalla. The search went on for nearly 24 hours but tragically the girl was found dead.
we opened the box and were shocked to see a piece missing (later we learned one of the boys took it)
