Andalusia is located in southern Spain and covers an area of 8 provinces. Andalusia is the second largest autonomous region in Spain. Beautiful AndalucÃa, the land of olives, oranges, sunflowers, beautiful mountain ranges and valleys, nice white mountain villages with beautiful squares, is a bridge between two continents, Africa and Europe, and is the point where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet. There is something for everyone in Andalusia, from culture to beautiful terraces, sights, long beaches, beautiful inland areas with beautiful reservoirs, mountains and nice villages to visit. Seville is the capital of the province of Andalusia. It has a colorful history dating back to the Romans. You will find beautiful historic buildings, but also tapas bars where they serve the tastiest dishes. And of course not to forget the flamenco. In 1929, as part of the Spanish World Exhibition, among other things, the Plaza de España was constructed: a crescent-shaped square with the Pavilion de España situated on it. There are fifty murals on the façade that refer to the fifty Spanish provinces. In front of it are benches, which are eagerly used. The Plaza de España is a classic place to go with the family on Sundays. The majority of these buildings are used today by the government such as the town hall. The square also served as a film set for Naboo in the 2002 film Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.
The Plaza de España is a landmark in Spain located in Sevilla. A "Moorish paradisical style" with a half mile of tiled fountains, pavilions, walls, ponds, benches, and lush plantings of Mediterranean pines. The Plaza de España has been used as a filming location for in the Star Wars movie – Attack of the Clones. The scene of a young Anakin and Padmé arriving at the planet of Naboo, walking over the bridge and through the corridors of the Royal Palace.
Jordan is amazing. The remains of Prehistoric, Greek, Roman, Biblical, Umayyad, Islamic and modern history abound...
A visit to Mt. Nebo, just 45 minutes south of the capital, Amman... this is the most agreed upon place where the Bible says Moses was allowed by God to view the Land of Promise. It is also where the Arc of the Covenant was supposedly hid for a brief period (not looking for faves... hehehe) and where Moses died and is interred (disputed).
The site is impressive and the view is certainly amazing with the Dead Sea to the left, the Jordan Valley directly in front, and across the Jordan River - the green splotch of Jericho can be seen. I was there in 2016. Amazing ruins; hope to return. On a clear day they say one cans see Jerusalem; but not yesterday.
The site includes a "basilica" built from the 4th to 6th centuries and used for a thousand years? I spent some time inside - it is one of the best restorations and protected sites I have ever seen. Can you feel "it?" The feeling of and connection to human history and spiritual gravity, to me, is unmistakable and undeniable... :-) Honestly it draws me to such places...

North Wales is a land of high mountains, rugged crags, tumbling rivers, clear lakes, ancient woodland and a varied coastline.
Within this, the old kingdom of Gwynedd is the jewel in the crown, known in Welsh as Eryri and in English as Snowdonia.
The Snowdonia National Park has 15 mountains that sit over 3000 feet and Yr Wyddfa, meaning burial mound in Welsh, sits as the chieftain of them all.

The El Chorro Gorge is a beautiful place near Peñarrubia, with gigantic cliffs as high as 400 meters with a length of 3 kilometers. The Caminito del Rey was built around 1900 and was used to transport people and material between two factories that were on both sides of the El Chorro gorge. However, it took many years before the path was officially opened. The path hangs along the edges of the entire gorge. The total distance of the new Caminito del Rey is 7.7 kilometers. A beautiful walking tour that you have to book in advance online. The prehistoric Necropolis of Aguilillas above on the photo was discovered in the late 1980s. Seven graves have been carved into different rocks. About fifty people were buried between the years 2,100 and 1,900 before our era. Bones were found In the funerals, along with ceramic pottery, flint knives and personal ornaments (necklaces). A series of objects was also discovered with female idols in stone.
After the long and narrow Largo tunnel Kanitha continues her path to the start of the Caminito del Rey trail. On our way we are passing the prehistoric Necropolis of Aguilillas. Whether you come to El Chorro for the Caminito or not, this beautiful area is worth a visit in itself. You are in direct contact with nature and you can forget the world. Because the path is relatively easy to walk, it does not only attract active people or adventurers, but also people with an interest in historical stories. The total distance of the new Caminito del Rey is 7.7 kilometers. Buses will bring you back to the starting point.

Splinky is a small man, a prisoner of the demon of solitude, who deals with his sadness by clinging to memories of the past that he gathers from a huge chest. He lives in the illusion that his old love still exists, and every day becomes more enamoured by a heap of old, lifeless things, but "SÃrio" the guardian angel, will make our clown live in the present, he will be able to say goodbye to his past, and embark on a new life...
Thank you for your visits comments and favs! :-)
I wanted you to see the size of this place. When I found out it was purchased by and designed by the developers out of Austin, Texas, I wasn't surprised. The place is huge and they tried to touch on everything. It's positioned so people can sit out on the farthest deck and watch the sunset. Of course, small bars are out positioned in different areas of the deck. And sure, live bands..;) Sooooo Austin. Don't get me wrong, it's a great setup. It doesn't fit the rest of the city or coastal area, but that's the way it goes. I wonder how the locals feel about it?
We are here at the Patapampa pass, on the road back to Arequipa, in a place called Mirador de los Andes. This is one of the highest point of our trip, at 4910 m altitude. We had already been there the day before to reach the Colca valley.
It's cold, a little icy wind blows, and the weather is threatening. The great good weather of the morning is far away.

4910 m d'altitude !
