Bernus and Hakus are sitting in front of the window, looking out.
BERNUS:
Bernus ...... I see a hot air balloon.
HAKUS:
Where. I do not see anything.
BERNUS:
Then you should have glasses with stronger lenses.
The balloon is heading our way.
Oh ..... Look! It's Peter and Oleg who are in it.
HAKUS:
Where?
BERNUS:
You are now looking to the right, you must look to the left.
HAKUS:
You're right!
Where are they going to land, I wonder.
BERNUS:
On the grass ... at least ... if they go a little lower with that balloon.
Can we help them Hakus?
HAKUS:
Too late!
OLEG and PETER are at BERNUS BARKULA's castle. They have food, drink and a place to sleep. BERNUS found them deep in the forest and is happy with this find. He is lonely and sad. He was once dumped by his owner and has lived in an abandoned castle ever since. OLEG and PETER's sleeping place inside a clock. PETER is scared and cannot sleep. OLEG keeps an eye on everything.
To be continued......
Peter and Oleg are still at Anholt Castle. The fog is now gone.
PETER:
Oleg! There is a ladder against the wall. Someone climbs up.
OLEG:
Who is it?
PETER:
No idea.
.........
Hey guys!
I'm Bob the Butler and I'm here to help you.
Two bears named Scout and Bruno told me the story about the fog and how scared you are.
You do not have to be scared. That often happens here. Cheshire cat sometimes lives here. He comes and goes like this.
I'll help you down. It's your turn first, Peter. Give me a paw.
And that's how Peter and Oleg come back safely to the ground and look for mommy Marian

Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice. ~ Robert Frost
peace and happiness are the nature of your being and you share your being with everyone and everything.
There are not many mushrooms in my woods, but I sure have a lot of photos of them :-) They are so cooperative..they just stand there and they don't even bend in the breeze like flowers do...
now if only I remembered their names....
Pretty much SOOC except for squarer cropping
I can't grasp how the light brought out those colors from a murky brook. I have another work in the pipeline which shows the exact same color gradient. And I didn't even have to push in editing, this is quite close to the RAW file!
Wind and Rain some of the weather from the recent hurricane made it here, strong winds and heavy rains left some more leaves and limbs on the ground, shot in North Carolina.
Pan,zoom,shutter..... breath and shiver........

Simplicity and tranquillity are good for the mind and soul. Take time to look at the beauty around you.
The grass here is cut and taken to the 1.2MW Wothersome Anaerobic Digestion Plant.
This alternative energy technology uses maize, grass and whole-crop wheat silage, grown on the Estate’s home farm, to produce methane gas. The gas fuels a generator, which exports electricity to the National Grid. This provides enough green electricity for about 1,500 homes. The waste heat from the generator is being used to dry wood-chip for biomass boilers
This is taken from the path linking Kennels Lane to the wood and Milner Beck looking across to Ragdale, Wothersome, West Yorkshire. Behind was the sun and ahead a storm brewing.

When Yellow Mouse got up from her soft bed of garden flowers (others would call it weed, but hey, she hadn't smoked in years!), lured outside by a wonderful, savoury smell, humming Cat McKenzie's old but gold Yippie song to herself, "If you're going to San Mouseciso, be sure to wear some weed..." No, wait, those weren't the exact lyrics. So what, that smell was overpowering. And there it was, her huge, delicious breakfast piece of Swiss cheese. At other times, she would have been nervous, always double-checking that resident cat Jim wasn't anywhere near, ready to pounce and do what he'd call "morning exercise with mouse". Jim was alright, in his slightly weird "Jim way", but she strictly refused to do anything that came even remotely close to a workout before breakfast, let alone one that would have her twirled and tossed around by Jim, who, quite inefficiently, tried to assure her that "It's good for your poise!" She didn't need more poise, she had poise in abundance. But ever since Jim had taken on an enormous liking to homemade lasagna, and upon which he had declared: "Live and let live!", her days had gotten so relaxed and peaceful that it was almost too good to be true. Au contraire, these days it was barn dog Yellow Dog who tried to chase Jim around. Yellow Dog complained that Jim had gotten so lazy, "lasagna lazy" as he would call it. As Yellow Mouse set about to enjoy her breakfast, she heard, from a distance, some inviting barking ("Let's go Jim, it's time for our workout!"), followed by a harried caterwaul ("Leemeelone, I want lasagnaaaaa!"). Yellow mouse sighed happily. Life was good :-)
The yellow mouse has been with me since childhood. It once had a purple sibling, but that got lost at one point. The glass mouse is filled with a yellow liquid that shines beautifully in the sunshine (and would have been a nice subject for last week's shadow theme, as I realise now). The flowers I've picked from a front garden around the corner, and the cheese, in case you wondered, was delicious ;-) In-camera focus stacked image, only minimally post-edited in Lightroom, were I slightly increased the luminance and saturation of the yellow, and in Luminar 4, where I slightly enhanced the details (small) on the mouse, cheese and flowers.
If you'd like to get to know resident cat Jim (thank you for the Jimspiration, dear ironicdream!, and also Yellow Dog, please check the second comment :-) HMM, Everyone, stay safe, stay healthy, and take care!
I've been shattered and broken, for most of my life
But I've done pretty good, with a job and a wife
Got a family that loves me, and a good piece of land
That I bought with hard work, that I earned with these hands
But these things that I do
I did them for you
So just tell me you love me, and tell me you'll stay
And you'll watch over this house, while I go away
And just promise to be here, when I get back home
So we can start where we left off, all those years ago
Before my demons they took control
Lost and lonely, out here on the road
'Cause I've been careless and selfish, got no self respect
I'm an albatross hanging around my own neck
I'm a hard one to handle, and I've played the fool
And I'm so hard to love, 'cause I break all the rules
But these things that I do
'Cause I couldn't have you
So just tell me you love me, and tell me you'll stay
And you'll watch over this house, while I go away
And just promise to be here, when I get back home
So we can start where we left off, all those years ago
Before my demons they took control
Lost and lonely, out here on the road

One source says the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains range is about 1,000 km (620 mi) in length. Its highest point is 7,090 m (23,260 ft) located 100 km (62 mi) to the northwest of Lhasa. The range is parallel to the Himalayas in the Transhimalayas, and north of the Brahmaputra River. [3] Another source says the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains extend 460 miles (740 km) from Nyêmo County in the west to Ranwu County (the southwestern part of Baxoi County) in the east.
Its highest peak is Mount Nyenchen Tanglha (Nyainqêntanglha Feng) at 7,162 metres (23,497 ft).[4]
The southern side of the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains is precipitous, and falls by around 2,000 metres (6,600 ft), while the northern side is fairly level and descends about 1,000 metres (3,300 ft). Most of the mountains are below 6,500 metres (21,300 ft).[5] They contain 7080 glaciers covering an area of 10,700 square kilometres (4,100 sq mi).[4]
The Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains have an average latitude of 30°30'N and a longitude between 90°E and 97°E. Together with the Gangdise Shan located further west, it forms the Transhimalaya [a] which runs parallel to the Himalayas north of the Yarlung Tsangpo River.
The Drukla Chu river rises in the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains, where it is called the Song Chu river, and joins the Gyamda Chu river. The combined rivers run about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast to the Yarlung Tsangpo river.
Jeremiah 2:24 “Or [you have the untamed and reckless nature of] a wild donkey accustomed to the wilderness, that sniffs the wind in her passion [for the scent of a mate]. In her mating season who can restrain her? No males seeking her need to weary themselves; in her month they will find her [looking for them].”
Stop and rest a spell and have a wonderful weekend. We are going to have a busy one celebrating our Great Grandson's 12th BD. I will catch up nest week.

This was one of those images which you take and all the while thinking not sure whether that is worth keeping but i`ll sit on it for a while and come back to it.
Well it has been a while and it has been on my screen for a while too as I ponder what to do with it, the sky was rather dark and moody, windy with rain in the air with a little brightness out over the sea.
I then thought contrasty mono yes, now I was getting exited about it, the light had caught the damp patches so I exaggerated those with dodging to make them lighter and then burnt in some darker areas then a curves layer for a little more contrast and I love how the path is now highlighted through the length of the image.
From what was an image that nearly went into the bin I am now super exited about. This is at Goring By Sea in Sussex.

This church is located just a few miles down the road from the barn in my previous posting.
I would like to do more black and white images and I was attracted to a magazine at my local newsagents that was hard to resist.
Usually the images are street, buildings or portraits, but this edition has still life and flowers to inspire - lovely!
My PSP has some B&W presets so I chose one of those and then added a light vignette.
However - I also have PSP 'Scripts' that do a B&W conversion with a choice of colour selection.
I'm guilty at times of overloading myself with too many choices and can't make my mind up. My son preferred this one , so this one it is …
I've got to change my habits cos I'm making far too much work for myself these days !
