The River Suir Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the River Suir in Ireland. The 230 metre main span has the longest single bridge span in the Republic of Ireland.

After shooting the night sky till 4:00am at Ancient Bristlecone Forest, Wayne dropped me at my campsite where I quickly found a nice spot within walking distance of my camp and plunked down to wait out the sunrise. It was somewhat difficult to fight off the increasing urge to fall asleep, but I could tell it was going to be colorful one with these thin wispy clouds drifting by. That’s the one of the worst things about landscape photography, the sleep deprivation, especially when your trying to photograph sunrises and sunsets and also shoot nightscapes. It’s extremely rewarding though, when the sky fills with color and your sitting there ready to shoot it. I photographed for about an hour and then passed out on my cot until I woke 4hrs. later in the direct sunlight. Time to do it all over again but at a new destination, I've been on the road 4 days and still have 4 more days to go.
FYI: Mt. Whitney is the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states, and rises like the phoenix from the western rim of the Great Basin Desert of California. At an elevation of 14, 495 feet, Whitney looms high above Death Valley, which is the lowest point in North America at 262 feet below sea level, less than 100 miles to the east.

Schloss Brake near Lemgo is a castle built in the style of the Weserrenaissance. We used the second advent weekend for a visit to attend an interesting exhibition about historic maps and navigation.
Going back a few years to post a photo of a nice sunset along Lake Michigan taken with my old camera.

Stumbling around in the dark and fidgeting in the chill waiting for the show to begin is such a wonderful way to start a day. Often fighting off one's pillow and getting out so early doesn't lead to a worthy shot, but the gamble and anticipation is more than worth the time dedicated. Plus a good nap later.....

I drove down Glen Etive to take a few shots at the loch. I passed a few deer on the way and they did not seem that bothered by my presence, although they were mostly in the woods without much of a backdrop. I got out to take a shot of one of these deer and was about to change my lens as I still had my wide angle on, when this stag wandered into view without realising I was standing there. I don't know who was more suprised! He stared at me and I fired off a couple of quick shots. He was gone within seconds.
Un dÃa en el rÃo, disfrutando y comiendo en la naturaleza con la familia, ¿Qué más se puede pedir? Ahhh sÃ!! Un poquito de fotografÃa como no xD. Esta toma expresa con una total fidelidad lo que yo estaba sintiendo en ese momento, algo a lo que le doy una vital importancia en el proceso de crear una fotografÃa, sentÃa el equilibrio, me sentÃa agusto conmigo mismo, confiado, rodeado de la gente a la que más quiero en esta vida, todo estaba donde debÃa estar a la hora que debÃa estar, en perfecta sintonÃa, uno de esos pocos momentos de la vida llenos de sentido, que maravilla :D

Situada sobre un promontorio de la costa casareña entre el rÃo Manilva y el Arroyo Camarate, se encuentra la Torre de la Sal o Torre del Salto de la Mora, como también es conocida.
Cuenta con dos alturas, y además tiene la peculiaridad de poseer una planta cuadrada, lo que la diferencia del resto de torres que nos encontramos a lo largo de la costa. Y es que, a diferencia de éstas, la Torre de la Sal no serÃa una torre de vigilancia propiamente dicha.
