Taking Shelter
When it rains, it pours. And so it did. An absolute downpour, one of the few that I saw during my time in New York City, came upon us and I ran inside the nearest building to hide for awhile. Then I noticed the HostGator.com billboard, which brought back some memories for me. About 10 years ago I knew the original owner of the company, we were both in the same business, and HostGator was just a start-up company. He was trying to get people to agree to advertise his web-hosting company on their websites for a few dollars at a time. And now look at that, from small websites to big billboards in Times Square. And a NASCAR. Sheesh, they've done well in that time!
