Luau Reading Night at #SASCS Elementary
On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, #SASAtoms and their families enjoyed a Luau themed Reading Night. Activities included: writing sight words in sand, Palm Tree letter sounds, reading by the pool, a board game, crafts, and a fun photo booth. Students enjoyed completing a scavenger hunt. Parents were able to learn about the importance of reading over the summer as well. Did you know your child can lose 22% (approx. 2 levels) of their reading level if they don't read over the summer?!
