Finally finished spinning it on the ebony turkish. The finer was spun on the lighter original stick spindle I first purchased. I would it onto the turkish to make a plying ball, then plied it. It was quite a bit finer, resulting in a lace-weight 2-ply (or so) for about half the fibre, and a sport-weight or heavy fingering 2-ply for the other half.
