Sally Melville Award 2011 Goes To...
Selina Siu! Thank you Selina for being an inspiration, for choosing such fabulous books for the library, for encouraging us all to take a different look at the art of knitting.
For her gift, the Guild got Selina a yarn bowl from The Barefoot Potter, some notions bags by Lantern Moon and Hiya Hiya from Shall We Knit? and some vicuna blend fibre and a gift certificate from Sericin Silkworks.
I do believe she got a little misty-eyed when she opened the gift!
Thanks again, Selina! It's been a great three years with you at the Library and we'll look forward to seeing you "in the crowd" next year.
