Mosaic Swatch I - Garter Stitch Front

Starting the third repeat, which is back to the same colour combination as the first section.

 

I can't see the pattern in high contrast light, the shadows from the garter stitch mess up my vision. I had the same issue with the scarf I made for Dad, where I could only see it when it was brightly and diffusely lit.

 

I wonder if that holds true for everyone, or if it's just me? Squinting helps a lot, but still. Challenging to see the knitted fabric for the stitches.
