Camel Down and Merino Blend
About 50/50. Carded on Lindsey's drum carder (I got to use both Lindsey's and Johanna's, which was really interesting!) with my fluff.
The spun sample was just the camel down. It's doable, but neppy as all get out and requires a few plies. It's very soft, though, in any form. I decided after that sample spin that it'd be easier to blend it than to attempt spinning the down alone!
I don't know how much this is (I didn't weigh it) but we'll see what I get at the end of it.
The fluff looks a little dirty, but it's still a pretty kind of dirty. I can spin up the undyed merino as a contrast as well, but I think a single of the camel down is in the land of Crazy.
