Introducing Buddy
We had a bit of a rocky start, with a big illness and some bad litter manners, but he's adjusting and actually showing some affection that isn't food related.
We feel like we're forensic pet owners, figuring out what he is used to (canned food, apparently, and packages, which explains the massive tartar on his teeth), leashes, being let outside, and being around other animals.
He's very curious, but in an entitled way, and rarely gets pushed past a benevolent apathy.
He loves water, and will follow me anywhere (including into the shower).
He's coming when he's called with a kissing sound, and learning his name. He doesn't know why Zander wants to play all the time, darn it, but rarely fights with him, instead sort of backs up looking a bit consternated.
All in all, a good addition to the household!
