It's revealed to be called the "Fox Faces Sock" and is still by Nancy Bush. Featuring an Estonian Long-tail Cast-on, a Vikkel Braid, and ribbing on the back below the usual ribbing band.
Eventually it'll have an Eye of Partridge heel, Dutch heel, and a toe that is decreased in three spots and then closed to look for all the world like a star mole's nose.
It's moving when I work on it. I should try some normal straight socks at some point, so I can finish them quickly!
