A Young Mourning Dove

I went out to get Joshua to PLEASE come in for the evening (long summer days make the last week of school extra hard!) and there it was, sitting on our steps.

 

I took a few photos (practically on it) and then encouraged it to find a somewhat safer place to cool off.
