Detail of Gypsy Performance

For my dad -- a detail of the performance shot. Just a small part of the whole, but the detail isn't bad for ISO1600 and half a stadium away with a 50mm lens.

Using the -2 EV after sorting out the exposure in such a cavern (it must be fast enough to get the action, yet with some detail visible!) so this ends up being close to or at the fully open aperture, but at about 1/200s for shooting speed (give or take a bit).

When they change the lighting, of course, all bets are off.

I'm not enjoying the idea of shooting endlessly in dark caverns, but I do seem to be getting better results.

The moon shots really helped conceptually understand why you'd need a faster shutter, as it seems non-intuitive until you think it through.
