Sidewalk Construction
This guy is a freaking genius with a backhoe. He cracks the sidewalk with a curled up bucket, then it's like the bucket is an extension of him. I watched him gently sweep *DIRT* off to the side. Pull the grass away from the sidewalk like pulling a rind off cheese.
It was really stunning to watch him work the backhoe -- very graceful and fluid.
Day two, the phone is repaired, the ground is stomped, more sidewalk is pulled up, the concrete is poured, smoothed and patterned. Awesome!
