Spring Forward Scarf
While watching Sheridan get his next achievement in Karate, I taught myself how to fingerknit so I can teach the kids how to do it. I used two balls of Bernat Handicrafter Cotton held together, and then braided the resultant i-cord into a "scarf". The colours are Spring-Like, so this is the Spring Forward Scarf. It took about an hour to do the whole thing. One of the few things I took with me from Girl Guides was how to tie a rope so it won't come undone but so you can undo it on purpose later. I used a variation on this for the ends to secure them.
