Lightning Bolt Mittens

These are so totally kicking my butt! Argh! I've had to learn half a dozen new words and techniques just to pull these off so far. The lightning bolt is working out now, and the "sparks" or "stars" are behaving properly, so to speak, which gives them some extra warm around the fingers and is exciting. Right? RIGHT?!
