Berninapass (Explored)
One of the most spectacular Alpine crossings took me on the Bernina Express train from St. Moritz up to glittering snow-covered mountains on the Bernina Pass (2,253 metres above sea level) along Lago Bianco and then down to Poschiavo in the south, where the palm trees are already growing. This route is so beautiful that I got off in between to explore the gorgeous views and nature on foot.
As the highest railway line across the Alps, the Bernina Expres railway connects the north of Europe with the south. A panoramic trip through the UNESCO World Heritage Site with the Rhaetian Railway is a real treat!

Eine der spektakulärsten Alpenüberquerung führte mich mit der Bernina Express-Bahn von St. Moritz hoch hinauf zu glitzernden schneebedeckten Bergen auf den Berninapass (2'253 Meter über Meer) entlang des Lago Bianco und anschliessend hinunter nach Poschiavo im Süden, wo bereits die Palmen wachsen. Diese Strecke ist so schön, dass ich zwischendurch ausgestiegen bin, um die herrliche Sicht und die Natur zu Fuss zu erkunden.
Die Bernina Expres-Bahn verbindet als höchste Bahnstrecke über die Alpen den Norden Europas mit dem Süden. Eine Panoramafahrt durch das UNESCO Welterbe mit der Rhätischen Bahn ist ein wahrer Hochgenuss!
