Priocnemis sp (Pompilidae), male
This male was one of a few I found in an area with old leaf litter under a tree and infested with wolf spiders. Quite an elegant, slender wasp, in my opinion. There are a couple of species I know of that appear in the spring (like P. perturbator) that have uniformly coloured wings. Unfortunately I was not able to get close enough to get shots which would help in species id. With some spider wasps (if not most) it is already a success getting to the genus.
