The Driver of 47769 Resolve trudges disconsolately back to his locomotive which had conked out on arrival at Liskeard with the 08:46 Penzance - Manchester Piccadilly Virgin cross-country service on 7th June 2000. Having had a discussion with the Guard he decided to try and press on, eventually managing to restart the locomotive and get away some 25 minutes late.
