"Pont Romain" sur le Portefeuille.
Le pont Chodot appelé "Pont Romain" a été bâti sur l'emplacement de l'ancienne voie romaine se dirigeant vers Toulouse. Il a été construit en réalité au Moyen Age sur la rivière du Portefeuille. Jusque dans les années 1950, les lavandières venaient y laver leur linge sur la berge. (Travail des élèves du Collège Hervé Faye de St Benoît).
"Roman Bridge" on the "Portefeuille"..
The bridge Chodot called "Roman Bridge" was built on the site of the old Roman road heading towards Toulouse. It was actually built in medieval times on the river's Portefeuille. Until the 1950s, there were washerwomen wash clothes on the bank. (Student Work College of St. Benoît Hervé Faye).
