Kerrick dreams of the black tower, the Tower of Dreams. He can see it through the trees, not far away. As he tries to approach he sees raves rising from the tower. Some of them are exceptionally big. One of them draws nearer and reveals herself to be Tara, priestess of Pazuzu. "You cannot pass."
"But why?"
"You have forsaken our god. You are a traitor. Or do you wish to rejoin our ranks? Have you taken time to reconsider?"
Kerrick denies when he is offered the cursed necklace, now forged of gold or some similar precious metal. Tara shakes her head and squeezes the necklace in her hands. Blood runs from her fingers as she crushes the treasure.
Kerrick awakens with a scream. He is exhausted and will start the next day missing one healing surge.
