AT&SF GP60M right rear

I've found that there are very few things that can bring me out of my grave, but seeing kaipi89's lovely GP60M brought me back above ground. A Santa Fe GP60M (did anyone else have them?) has been on my list for a long time, but kaipi89 beat me too it soundly. However, as awesome as his is, and it is beautiful, he used a warbonnet sticker! GASP! Even TLG did a brick built warbonnet! So I was prompted to post a response to kaipi89's GP60M.

I'd never done any detailed examination of the GP60M until I started this project and I found some pretty interesting aspects unique only to the GP60M. First off, the headlight is off center as shown in THIS photo. The most difficult part for me, however, was the dynamic brake area. The proto photo that I chose to use shows an aging GP60M that is already a BNSF, but still lettered Santa Fe. It shows the dynamic area and the many bumps and layers that it contains. I did the best I could this time around.

Anyway, here's my response to kaipi89's GP60M; slightly more aged and with a brick built warbonnet. Enjoy.
