Tall Grass seed heads . Just a few weeks ago these were all brown . Now they are turning white as the seeds mature for distribution by the strong winds likely to develop during the months of October and November .

We can get some real nasty storms in the lakes with gale force winds and rain , sleet , or snow or all three in one storm . All five lakes are subject to them .
