Routes 507 and 521 are being restocked with new SEe class ADL Enviro 200 bodied BYD D9UR's. In advance of that Go-Ahead London trialled two types of electric powered buses - two BYD K9E's and two Irizar i2's. EB2, seen here on Lambeth Bridge in April, is one of the latter and could be said winning design. Whether that was a win on reliability or cost I am unsure.
All four of the trial buses have now disappeared from London service. Interesting, SEe deliveries have started at SEe3, suggesting that EB1 and EB2 may re-emerge as SEe1 & 2. I have no proper confirmation of this, just speculating. This bus last appeared in service on 25/08/16 with EB1 disappearing one day later.
As far as the two Irizar i2's are concerned, their last appearance was 10th August. I have heard a rumour they are going to be used on route 108 but I am not sure if this is true or not.
