Stagecoach East London 15103 - Route 277 - Victoria Park
Route 277 is currently part of the subject of two consultations, and as such is unlikely to show the destination Leamouth any more at some point. The first proposal is for routes in the Isle of Dogs area. It is proposed that from Canary Wharf the route will swap its eastbound route with route D3 - route D3 will run to Leamouth and route 277 will run to Crossharbour. This is designed to better match capacity to demand and several other routes (108, 135, D7 & D8) are included in it.
At the other end of route, a change in the road layout at Highbury & Islington has led to a proposal that the route will be withdrawn between there and Dalston Junction. The exception to this is the night service, for which it is proposed to be extended to Angel Station and re-numbered route N277.
Both consultations are closed but as far as I know there are no confirmations yet. Consultations usually lead to changes so it can be expected that at some time in the near future route 277 will run from Dalston Junction to Crossharbour, with route N277 running from Angel to Crossharbour.
