London United (but not for much longer) SP20 on route 57
I have always thought London General was better positioned to operate route 57 than London United and I have been surprised in previous tenders that it hasn't changed hands. It has just changed hands on the latest tender announcements and will transfer on 2nd July 2016.
I believe it will go into Merton Garage and set off a chain of route moves to accommodate it. I am going to predict that route 77 will transfer to Stockwell and route 337 will go to Putney. I also think the rest of the 19's might have to go to Northumberland Park and the 485 may go wherever there is room. I may be wrong of course, time will tell. Only speculating...
Anyway, of the current order Scania N230UD Omnicity, fleet number SP20, is passing through Wimbledon Town Centre. The route currently runs from Tolworth Garage and SP's have only recently started to appear on it. This bus was transferred from Hounslow Garage in July.
