Stagecoach London 15072 on route 96 at Woolwich

This Scania N230UD Omnicity was supplied to The East London Bus Group while they operated the company and followed a different vehicle buying policy than Stagecoach has.

 

Route 96 dates from 1959 and was another trolleybus replacement route running at that time from Dartford to Woolwich. It has been pretty stable for a London route, the only amendments having been a previous peak hours extension to Charlton and the extension from Dartford to Bluewater shopping centre.
