London United SP194 on route 423 at Heathrow Terminal 5
Route 423 was invented when Heathrow terminal 5 was opened in 2008. It was a renumbering of route H23 with a re-routeing. Route H23 ran from Hounslow to Heathrow T4 and the cargo area. The 423 re-routed to travel around the east, north and west of Heathrow instead of the south to terminate at T5. The 482, also a new route, took over the south routing serving T4, the cargo area and T5.
It normally runs with E200 single decks but Scania double decks make appearances.
