I spent two weeks in east Africa travelling and meeting people in Uganda and Kenya. It's been a lifechanging experience. No more, no less. Hopefully my images from this trip into another world (there is no other way of putting it really) will be able to convey some of that.
To travel means to meet and experience new things. This is a good example of that. What you see here is not a cup of coffe or a nicely flavoured tea of some sort. It's goat soup. Yes, goat. To make this rather special drink you take head of a freshly slaughtered goat and burn of all it's hair over an open fire. Then you simply put it in a kettle of boiling water and let it stew for a day. A whole day. Remove the head from the kettle and voila, enjoy your soup!
Of course I had to try it. It tastes like a wet dog smells. Can you picture it?
