Rakhain, a group of tribal people lives in cox’sbazar, Bangladesh celebrates their biggest community festival in occasion of “Rakahin new year” by three day long water festival. Young Rakhain boy’s and girls splash water each other in their community on different location.
Rakahin new year starts from 17th April but the festival remains three day 17th-19th April. Young Rakhain girls (mainly unmarried) wait different location on their community. Boy’s come with music and dance then boy’s and girls mete uthe in splash water. After few minute end of splashing water boy moves to another spot and girls wait for another group of boy’s. there have no restriction for splashing water any one can splash water if boy and both are agree. If they agree they also become life partner.
Bangladesh has different religion and community but every one play their own culture and heritage peacefully. That’s makes Bangladesh a land of wonderful beauty.
