The summit of Mount McKinley, Alaska
The native Athabascan Indians called the Mountain range Denali, meaning 'The High One'. At 20320 feet, it is the highest peak in North America. Denali was renamed Mount McKinley for William McKinley, a nominee for president, by the Princeton graduate and gold prospector, William Dickie. This shot was taken from a small tourist sightseeing plane through a glass window.
