Hollywood Fluff

On Monday, I spent all afternoon and into the evening at the Hollywood Bowl Overlook shooting both the downtown city line and the Hollywood sign to the left. The sky was amazing though there was a constant mix of light and dark that made it hard to get the exposures right on some of the longer open bulb shots. At times the clouds were white and the sky bright and then seconds later, the sky got black and looked like it would storm.

It seems hard to me to get an interesting/unique shot of the Hollywood sign and when I saw all the clouds, figured it was as good a time as any to pull out the 10 stop filter and go for something a bit different.
