time to hit the books!

 

These are all similar to the okopipi dress, a very simple design that I wanted to play with more. I am finding that simpler is often the best route for me, these went pretty quickly and I enjoyed being able to cut everything at once and do things more assembly-line style. So far I have been cutting and piecing as I go, one dress at a time. It's a time-consuming approach, but it lets me change things up easily and design-on-the-fly. I am too impatient to sketch, but I probably should.
