19th December - unseasonal bunnies
I may have bitten off rather more than I can chew with knitting at the moment. Having finished the mini stockings last week, I've been furiously working my way through Megan's scarf. That was finished last night, freeing up the 4mm needles to complete the last of this set of bunnies for Abi's Hannukah present, and then this evening I've made a start on Eli's scarf, with an absolute deadline of the last night of Hannukah (next Tuesday).
I saw this pattern and knew I had to make them for Abi. She loves creme eggs year round, and we happened to have a few of them still hanging around from when I filled the Pampered Chef trifle bowl with them. We had a spare 'happy eggs' box, so I squeezed these in, with a bonus 3 more creme eggs.
I'm really rather enjoying knitting little things, and there are a few more patterns by this lady that I'm hoping to try. If I ever get the time. Today's time was mostly stolen as I sneaked Eli in for an extra preschool session.
