Rural Access
Distance learning, just as with its precursors, correspondence courses and telecourses, provide educational opportunities to students living in rural communities. This advantage was my highest consideration in determining to complete my Bachelor's degree. If online courses had not been offered, I would not have been able to complete my education due to the rural nature of the community in which I live and work.
