Taken in the Gila Wilderness in New Mexico. Behind the rock outcropping you can see the rain pouring down far off in the horizon. We knew the storm was coming and that we had to hike down off the mountain, however we did not notice the rain in the photo frame until we got home. This is a common view in the southwest during the summer monsoon season. The land is so vast, the view is so far in each direction, that you will see these patches of rainfall across the horizon during the monsoons.
