Smooth Tones

As the tide was low I made another visit to Eastney beach, Portsmouth yesterday in search of some sunset colour to brighten up the dull cloudy week we had experienced on the South Coast of the UK.

 

I thought I had wasted my time as the heavy cloud appeared to the west but shortly after sunset the sky went these interesting colours due south producing some nice tones of reflected light on the sea!

 

30 second exposure using B+W 6 stop ND filter + Lee 0.6 ND grad filter over the sky.
