Sunset Snapper
60 Seconds
I had a day off work today I am pleased to report the weather on the South Coast of the UK improved so I paid a visit to Sandy Point, Hayling Island to capture the sunset.
Regular followers will know that that I had a major accident with my camera & lens last time I visited this location a few weeks ago and thanks to my insurance company and a really good Black Friday deal at Jessop's I have upgraded my camera to a Nikon D810 with a new 24-70mm 2.8 lens and today was the first opportunity to give my new gear a try!
In addition, my good friend Andy has also been converted to Nikon and has purchased a D810 as well and it was good that he was able to meet me at the beach today making it a real Team Nikon event!
I must say the camera is superb, the detail captured is incredible with amazing shadow recovery and an almost silent shutter, much better than my D800!!
60 second exposure using a Lee 'Little Stopper' 6 stop ND filter + 0.9 ND grad over the sky.
Thanks for any comments you may wish to leave.
